hey. i've decided to move to another journal. i know i haven't been at this one for very long, but i needed a change - this journal was made at a point of my life that was not good and i need to get away from those reminders. don't fret, darling, you can still come find (friend) me over yonder at joanses.

everything here will stay as it was, mostly 'cause i still have WIP fics that i need to sort out and move, et cetera. plus, i've got all this lovely finished fic. everything's linked over at the new journal, i even have a masterlist now (what, with my six or so stories and all). it's also less friend's locked over there, so that could be a good/bad thing.

and also, i want to share the story behind my name, because it's bursting to get out. it's really not that important, so you  can skip over it. i was listening to keeping up with the joneses by the medic droid. and it's sort of like joneses, but not really, because it's more of a joan like a chick. more feminine.

see, biggest waste of thirty or less seconds. anyway, just wanted to let everyone know that i made the move. wotwot.

Now, I know many actors and actresses have organization and messages to spread and teach and share with us, but I hardly listen to them. What I listen to is music, and if more musicians - from those struggling to make it, to those in the spotlight of fame - would take up a cause, I believe we could effect a change, or a movement.

So, I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart and I can't help but think, everyone should have a love as beautiful as theirs.

hey, everyone (well, those who read this anyway). right, so, it's my birthday. i've turned 18. it's not what i was expecting at all. i still feel seventeen and scared about the world - is there some special substance you drink that makes you understand, or some sort of special pill that makes you grow up? i feel lost, like alice in wonderland. "off with her head! she doesn't know what she's doing!"


enough with that, though, i thought i'd bring up some fic news. okay, so when i first got my laptop, i had written out the bare bones of a story where, basically, pete wentz thought it would be a good idea to have a fueled by ramen summer camp. well, then some shit happened and my parents were going to send my computer back and took it from me and deleted everything.

as it turns out, they gave the laptop back to me (go figure) and i managed to save the bare bones of this story, as well as some ophelia-verse bits and pieces (thank god). so, i'm working on the summer camp fic, be on the look out for that. it will definitely be posted on we_are_cities, seeing as it was inspired by a prompt there, naturally. then, i'm going to finish my ophelia!fic where jon walker comes to visit and we explore ophelia as a town, herself.


other than that, i don't know what to say. i got some snazzy new chuck taylors (i decided i also want some like brendon urie has, those black lowtops with the red double tongue). also, some black and gray leggings. oh, and new tires, because my back right tire decided to become flat. stella, not cool.

i had this epic adventure too, coming from college to home for the long weekend/birthday. somehow i got turned around and was headed toward atlanta, not in the direction towards nashville that i was supposed to be going in. i ended up in some little town named germantown which has absolutely no life/nowhere to stop and turned around. it was crazy. am never doing that again.

So, I need information on pregnancies. I'm doing my own research, of course, but c'mon guys - I'm seventeen. Hopefully I don't know much about them. The information I need pertains to what happens when the doctor actually tells you yes, you're pregnant, the first appointment, trimesters, etc. etc. If there is anyone who can help me - please, please do!

Happy New Year, everyone! I hope 2007 sees you well. What's gonna happen for me this year? Well, I'm graduating (May 19!), college starts (August 20!), and I'm moving out of the house (Thank God).
